Title:High-Order Three-Scales Method for Composite Structures with Two-levels Small-scale Configurations/具有两层小尺度构造的复合结构分析的高阶三尺度方法
Abstract:In this paper, a high-order three-scales (HOTS) computational method for mechanical performances of composite structures with small scales configurations of multi-levels is presented. Compared with the classic second-order two-scale method, an additional cell with smaller scale is introduced to capture local characteristics inside basic configuration of smaller scale, and then obtain the more precisely approximate solution. The expression of three-scale approximate displacement solution is given analytically and it contains the local oscillation information both in mesoscopic and microscopic scales. The characteristic functions in the expression of three-scale solution are defined on mesoscopic and microscopic cells respectively and obtained by solving the corresponding local governing equations. Finally, some numerical examples for the elastic problem for composite structure with small periodic configurations of two-levels are given. The results show that the HOTS method presented in this paper is valid and effective.
