On November 26-27, 2017, Civil Engineering Sub-Forum of Foreign And Domestic Outstanding Young Scholar Forum, was held ceremoniously. 22 excellent young scholars, and 13 outstanding young teachers from School of Civil Engineering (SCE), Chongqing University (CQU), along with Dean Qingshan Yang, Party Secretary Jianmin Hua, Vice-Dean Hongliu Xia, attended the sub-forum. Among those invited excellent young scholars, 13 were from Occident universities, 4 Asian and African universities, and 5 Hong Kong, Macao and Mainland China universities.

        On November 26th, 8:30 am, Civil Engineering Sub-Forum of Foreign And Domestic Outstanding Young Scholar Forum was held ceremoniously. More than 20 outstanding young scholars from universities of different countries and regions, including the USA, the UK, Japan, Australia, and Singapore, have launched intensely academic discussions and communication. 

        At the noon of November 27th, Civil Engineering Sub-Forum of Foreign And Domestic Outstanding Young Scholar Forum was closed successfully. The forum won the unanimous praise of experts at home and abroad! The forum has enhanced the understanding of the basic situation of SCE by preeminent young scholars from universities across the world and promoted the influence of SCE in the international universities. Moreover, the forum played the positive propaganda function in attracting the outstanding young scholars. It was in an effort to provide an academic exchange platform for international outstanding scholars and a platform for them to establish contact with CQU.

        The forum is a landmark event in the international exchange activities of SCE. It enriches SCE's international communication ways, expands its international communication channel, enhances its international influence, and plays an important role in helping SCE to build a "first-class discipline"!
